SURFACE PREPARATION:
Care should be taken that the application surface has cured.
The application surface must be cleaned of dust, oil, tar, pitch, paint, silicone, curing material, detergent and mold oils, etc.
Weak parts of the concrete should be repaired, plasters that do not adhere well should be removed, the surface should be made smooth and solid, static cracks in the building should be repaired with AQUALATEX plaster or REPAIRGROUT EXPAN High Strength Shrinkage-Free Grout Mortar. Dynamic (moving) cracks should be repaired with FIXA’s suitable MS, Hybrid and Polyurethane Sealants. Water inflow holes should be blocked with AQUASTOP.
The application surface should be saturated with water and it should be kept moist during the application.
Right corners should be properly chamfered.

APPLICATION INFORMATION:
• AKRİLAN 600 should be applied on the surface with a brush or roller in minimum two layers, with each layer creating a film thickness of approximately 1 – 1.5 mm.
• It dries in about 4-5 hours depending on weather conditions. The other coat should not be applied before one coat is completely dry.
• It is recommended to use carriers such as IMPERMO Waterproofing Net or felt between two layers against water pressure or on navigable roofs.
• AKRİLAN 600 gains mechanical strength after 5 days and becomes waterproof after 7 days. It reaches its final strength after 14 days.
• It must be protected against punctures and impacts.

COLOURING AND PAINTING:
AKRİLAN 600 is produced in white colour. It can be produced in different colours upon order. It can be coloured with water-based paste type pigments during application. It can be painted with acrylic-based water-based exterior paints.

CONSUMPTION:
For 1 mm film thickness: 1.4 kg/m2
On terrace roofs: 3 – 4 kg/m2
In streams: 2 – 4 kg/m2
(At least two coats should be applied. It is recommended to apply three coats where high protection is required.)

ATTENTION:
• Avoid application at temperatures below +5°C and above +35°C.
• Avoid application in areas that are frozen, at risk of freezing within 24 hours, or in areas open to direct sun and wind.
• AKRİLAN 600 is not suitable for water tanks, swimming pools and foundation insulation under constant water pressure.
• Do not contact with surfaces such as metal or glass. May cause permanent staining.
• It should not be applied on wet and damp ground.
• Do not leave the cap open when the product application is finished or interrupted.

HEALTH AND SAFETY:
As with all chemical products, food products should not come into contact with skin, eyes and mouth during use and storage. During the application, work clothes, protective gloves, glasses and masks in accordance with the occupational and worker health rules should be used. Consult a doctor if accidentally swallowed. In contact with skin, wash with plenty of water. It should be stored out of the reach of children.
